Changing the world one connection at a time.

Founded in and developed from the real life experiences of incarcerated people who saw a better way forward and Quaker volunteers, built upon a spiritual base, AVP encourages every person's innate power to learn and grow, and to positively transform themselves and the world around them.

Ready to take the next step?

AVP began as and remains a grassroots movement.

Whether you are experienced or want to learn - facilitating, organizing, coordinating, outreaching, communicating, fundraising, donating funds, board work or simply participating - you and your gifts are needed on our team.

“A mind stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions.”

— Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.
